Caesar's wife must be beyond reproach

Caesar's wife must be above suspicion.  However you interpret this,Caesar' wife doctrine?   "Meos tam suspicione quam..." thus said Julius Caesar.   Despite the fact that his wife was acquitted of all the charges hauled against her before the high court of the empire,   Caesar removed her from his immediate circle of officials.

Today, it is not rare that at times we hear phrases and quotes from the ancient Romans and the Greeks because some if not most of our legalistic vocabularies originated from them.

In the impeachment trial today, defense lawyer Jose Roy said,  "a true judge must not only be impartial but must looked impartial."  referring to senator-judge Franklin Drilon, who is now accused of favoring the prosecution as seen by his actuations.  So that to avoid suspicion he must inhibit himself, according to the defense camp.

And if rumors are true, CJ Corona will step down from office even if acquitted from the charges to show and demonstrate to everyone that he is not a cheat, corrupt, bad or evil  as shown and crafted by the present administration through propaganda and seemingly unrestricted publicity in the name of showing the truth to the people.
