Last night I had a dream and this is at the time when the President is leaving for a visit to Japan to consult if not seek help in our conflict with China regarding the Spratly islands in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea)
My dream was all about the country's current dispute with the Chinese on the Spratlys. That all peaceful negotiations are already exhausted including those in the United Nations. And the Philippines was declaring war against China. The Philippine military commanders gathered all its armies to prepare for war. Then the Commander-in-chief delivered a very strong message to the soldiers. "Let us all come forward and fight! Our country is worth dying for! shouted the Commander. "Are we ready to fight and die! he added "Yes Sir Yes! Sir!" shouted back the soldiers. But one lowly soldier stood up, "Sir,question Sir! You mean Sir you only want us to fight and die? You do not want us to kill our enemies?" Everyone was silent, the whole ground quiet. Then the Commander replied, "To kill is not good,not pro-life and so not the ultimate solution. And if we killed them all we let them die for their own country and because we are greatly outnumbered we can loss the war.
'kad pasulong... na. then there I woke up.
