Chemotherapy is most dreaded not cancer

On the much dreaded chemotherapy which I was once scheduled to undergo way back 2008 as my urologist, Dr. Bilar  insisted I had to go on a  biopsy because my PSA "prostate specific antigen was going up.   At first my PSA findings was 4.7 and after two weeks there was another check up and the result was 8.6 so that my doctor scheduled me for a biopsy test.  All I had to do was prepare 30 thousand pesos and the biopsy was done. He said the result was not so good since the score was  Gleason 7 and it was cancer in advaned stage.  Though I was not given a copy of the result as he promised, my wife was with me on our next visit.   He told us chemotherapy  or radiationis was highly advised.  The whole treatment would cost us at least 175,000 pesos and my wife almost fall from the chair. I asked him to give me a week to decide.  Thanks because  my health card had expired that year.  What happened?
