Japan is now in deep trouble after the strong earthquake, the tsunami that killed several thousands of its citizens and now the still on going nuclear radiation scare. The japanese are prepared. They are used to disasters. They do not cry or panic for help. They are stronghearted people as proven by hundred years history. Japan was once the enemy of the Philippines. Remember gen. yamashita. He with his soldiers butchered hundred thousand Filipinos during WWII. But the general has offerred his supreme sacrifice. He was hanged in the Philippines after Japan surenderred in 1945 that ended WW II. But do not let history burdened your memory, as one writer put it. Read your history books this will enlighten your inner self, and after you soul is enlightened, you will be glad to say reconciliation is still the best revenge. Japan has surendered and had appologized to the Filipinos several times. Let us not ruin the appology. The Filipinos are now in peace with their Japanese neighbors. The Pinoy's offer, though a token gesture of help may not be as big but it is still a friendly offer. mel#
