Getting real after the trial

I never had noticed the value of our kitchen sink in the house for many years until today when it is totally clogged.   Now I agree with the saying,  You will not appreciate the value of a thing until you lost it.  Some weeks back, remedial measures were temporarily thought to last some time.

Today, I realized the kitchen sink could be considered the dirtiest part of the house, even more than the toilet bowls that once you flush everything goes down the septic tank.
The sink strainer, if there is one, may initially take care the first few months or even years but as time goes on everything you threw into the sink are deposited in the drainage pipeline that could harden like a rock that would block anything you  put into the sink, even clean water.  Thus the cause of  my worry today.

What cause the sink to clog?  Normally when we wash the dishes there  are food residues, crumbs on the plates and bowls, oily left-overs like spaghetti, cakes, etc.  We all threw these into the sink.  The sink strainer, again if there is one, will initially take care of the seemingly harmless garbage.

What to do?   I bought  a liquid chemical, liquid sosa, poured it into the sink,  then I got another baking soda and vinegar  also poured it into the sink, and later I applied a volume of hot water an using a plunger pumped it into the clogged sink, but all to no avail.
I had asked friends,  neighbors and relatives even including the web but they all ultimately say talk to a plumber or simply pull out your money.
Ok, now I'll call a plumber and once its fixed I'll try to learn good housekeeping even now in my senior years.
