Lack of money also roots of all evils
Some time ago a priest became victim of a stick-up artist in the busy thoroughfares of Quiapo, Manila. The elderly man of God was walking on Plaza Miranda to buy medicine for his hypertension. All of a sudden he felt a pointed object poked on his back. And the man behind said, "Sir give me your wallet and I will not harm you." "Okay son I am a priest and I will give you money but please listen to me. Until now you still do not learn that money is the root of all evils? "I am sorry father, yes I learned because you always said that in your sermon, But I need the money to pay the funeral parlor so I can bury my mother," Replied the hold-up man. "Ok son follow me inside the church and I will help you," said the priest. Inside the church the hold-up man returned the priest's wallet and said "I am very sorry father but this time lack of money is also the roots of many evils." Stunned the priest gave him money to pay the funeral parlor.

money in itself is not the root of evil, but the greed of it.
