Ever tried waking up at 3 o-clock in the morning and open the lights at the kitchen of your apartment house. You could have seen swarms of cockroaches scurrying for safety. We know they looked for food they eat and drink everything they find, yet they do not get sick. Their only concern is when the household owner brings the one time insect killer and give them a dose.
Then if ever you are enterprising enough to come out at such time in the night and observe in the business districts of Makati and Ortigas you could see crowds of BPO workers at the end of their night shifts, not scurrying for safety but hurrying home for needed rest. Like roaches they eat and drink anything in the night to ward off sleep. Yet unlike roaches they get sick and have more troubles, like sleep disorders, become overweight while heaping more fats,become depressed and diabetics and eventually have heart failures.
Socialites? Like roaches and BPOs the spend the nights with friends and eat and drink anything they find. But most of the time they do not spend their own money. They are just out there in the night to enjoy and have fun. Ever see their differences and things in common?
Taxi drivers and security guards also come out at night.
