at about 1:40 pm today manila time japan was hit by an 8.9 strong earthquake, as of this writing just 3 hours ago as reported by cnn and reuters now shown on television an internet live videos. casualties are not reported yet since the natural disaster are still ongoing and people in the most affected areas specially in Hunshu about 350 km northeast of tokyo are still struggling to save byall means including their own lives.
i have a friend there, his name kobo and he is living not far from the area i tried to contact him but it seems there is no signal, his wife a filipina he comes to the philippines at least two times a month i am cocern of him because his father a senior citizen is wellchair-bound and every time we meet he would think of his father way back since i am also a senior and also a stroke victim since five years ago though not on wellchair. seniors specially the disabledare more vulnerable than most in this times of calamities. but we seniors are more concern of the youngs who will take over from us anyway of whatever are left aftert the disasters mel#
